Apple iPad 2 review and warranty review and walmart product care plan review

Alright back in April we purchased our iPad 2 and everything was going good then I dropped it while having it in an otter box protection case only I didn't have the face cover on it and it hit the computer chair  you know the base of it where the roller wheels are yeah hit it just right and shattered the face of it...I purchased a walmart product care plan when I bought it which the iPad 2 was $600...OK so I sent it to have the screen replaced to walmart care plan they sent it back and left it on my porch for the taking for who knows how long they left it there...so then when I got it back the battery life was changed it didn't hold a charge very long and now it wont hold a charge at all...so I called apple instead because I didn't want to have it delivered without my knowing and it be left for who ever to take...and they said they could take care of it but I needed a service plan I gave them my payment information and then they transferred me and they said I didn't need that service because its hardware related and its supported without the phone service...which by the way lasts only 90 days then you have to purchase an extension for phone support...so they can trouble shoot your problem then resolve it or decide its hardware...so you have to pay additional money for someone to tell you that its hardware otherwise to my understanding you cannot call them and set up a repair for the hardware issues...OK so its the battery I sent it in to Apple to be fixed and some how in the conversations on the phone the order for it to be fixed was canceled I will call them soon and there will be a part 2 to this rant but I am not at all pleased with Apple and how they operate especially on such an expensive item as an iPad 2 yeah I know their laptops are more but I honestly at this point in time would like a refund I am so discouraged by their support I have gotten so far...I called them when the first hardware issue began which was when I got it back from Walmart product care they said it was program problem that I needed to reset the iPad to factory settings and it would resolve it didn't fix the problem and at this point I cannot even hook it up to my computer cause the iPad turns off and on and off and on when it is hooked up to my laptop which no its not an Apple THANK GOD FOR THAT! I don't ever plan to buy another Apple product ever again especially if this issue isn't fixed...again I will call them after the holiday and see about it and then update the blog so stay tuned for the next rant or resolve...and in the mean time DONT BUY APPLE unless you of course don't mind coasters when they stop working cause thats what its looks like its good for at this point...thanks for staying tune for the next entry...and not buying APPLE yeah right like I have that much power over you all...you will do what you want...I hope you don't get screwed around like me...good luck if you do buy from them!
Sincerely,

search engines on store sites

I really hate that when you type in a certain term that it brings up both words singular or together so you never actually find what your looking for...like right now I am looking for a good vlogging video camera that I can see the screen when its pointed at me I have tried numerous ways of saying what I think it would be called and still have only found a couple cameras and only by chance like the Samsung one with the flip screen which is cool but too pricey for my kind...and the bloggy or whatever which I hear isn't the greatest...so I keep trying to find one on the sites and find absolutely nothing but camera's with screens imagine that! Anyway I am very frustrated. Even Google fails me in trying to find such terms stated together in a sentence "flip screen" "movable screen" "vlogging camera" "best vlog camera" "adjustable screen" etc. all ending of course with camera but you get the point I have tried them all and only get Best cameras and adjustable straps on cameras that have screens! ugh! Anyways, I thought I might ask you all out there who ever you are and if you ever do come to my site, have you found a video camera perfect for vlogging where you can point the screen at yourself while you are videoing yourself? I would greatly appreciate any comments on this as I am at a loss with the search engines on Walmart, Bestbuy, Samsung, Kodak, Target, and many more. Thank you in advance for any advice :-)
Talk to you later
Sincerely,

Scofield Hyundai body shop

We were in a driver side impact t-bone accident on 11-11-11...and well the door was so crushed it wouldn't open and at the top of the door it bowed open. Anyway, we took it to Scofield because we figured they would have the parts and right paint color.
We got it back 12 days later cuz we were unable to pick it up on the 11th day as they had it done then. Anyway, the car smelt like nail polish or nail polish remover very strongly from the paint job, and it looked like the dust had been just smeared around, I also noticed a spot on our light tan interior seat, but it might have been there prior but I can't remember. They left the polite paper floor cover sharing their strive to keep it clean, but yet smeared the dust all over the dash, knobs and radio face. Well anyway, the work was done from what I can tell with the way the door shuts etc. over all on the actual work done I'm impressed. The cleanliness of the car afterward could use some work though. Anyway. They sent a thank you card too. Hope we are not on a mailing list now...oh well.
Anyways I just wanted to share that with you.

Dodge Avenger car

Well we were in an accident on 11-11-11 and while our beloved Hyundai Elantra was being fixed, we were rented a Dodge Avenger. So I have quite the opinion on this car for the just over a week rental period.
The trunk though spacious and accessible from the middle pull down cup holder area in the rear seat, which my children enjoyed throwing toys and trash in there it was rather entertaining as well as revengeful for my children to throw the other child's toy in the trunk. There was water that leaked out of the trunk latch due to I believe the rear light not being sealed properly.
Most importantly the biggest compliant I have are the horrible blind spots, I nearly cut so many people it wasn't even funny. And I looked best I could and still missed seeing several cars even a truck! I also didn't like how easy it was to flip the brights on and off, I had to of blinded so many people when I used the blinker! The heater worked well, didn't get to try the air conditioner because it's cold here, so I can't comment on that part.
I noticed when locking, unlocking, and starting the car there is a bit of a delay for some reason. Like I would turn the key and it took like a couple seconds to engage the car to start, most bizarre thing I've experienced with starting a car... Same with the button unlock or lock system, it took a second or two to engage.
The steering was very touchy almost too touchy...very tight suspension, and the radius wasn't very good, I kinda expected with the tightness I could turn tighter corners but I was wrong. Didn't wreck or anything so that's a plus!
The pick up and go was the best part, there was no hesitation in gearing up to get on the highway, just those blind spots got in the way of really seeing what it could do.
The seats didn't feel like the supported my lower back like they looked like they would, which would of been nice. I couldn't see myself or my family taking it on a long drive, I mean yeah it had more room than our Hyundai, but I felt we were at the pump more often, still need to figure out if it has a smaller tank or is just that much worse on gas than our Hyundai.
Needless to say I'm very happy to have my Hyundai back.
I personally wouldn't buy the Avenger just cause the blind spots being so bad. Too life risking to trade power and tight suspension. Plus you kind of felt claustrophobic inside it and I don't know if it's because of the black interior or the high window placement or what. Just know I felt like it was closing in on me.
I heard the Dodge Charger is the same way with blind spots, and actually the Avenger was built based on the charger so it's basically a baby charger. Anyways, just thought I would share this info with you all, who ever you are. Do you own one? Do you disagree? Comment below and tell me, better yet go test drive one and then come and tell me there are no blind spots in the sucker! :-) good luck! Hope you live through it to tell me about it. Thanks for stopping by and reading this.

The Little Mermaid Musical Show in Wichita Kansas

Sunday Aug. 14, 2011 my husband and I went to Century II to watch the last night showing of the musical The Little Mermaid performed by the Music Theater of Wichita which at the website you can view for limited time preview of the show we saw and pictures of their hard work they put into the whole show.

It was a beautiful performance and I enjoyed it thoroughly and I was so glad and thankful that Disney allowed them to create the whole thing and costumes but am kind of discouraged that they won't be able to rent out the costumes for a few years for the beautiful musical could travel and be shared with the world because it is THAT wonderful of a display and show that I think nailed the Disney movie on the head of the nail and needs to be shared with the world as soon as possible.

I enjoyed Ariel (Desi Oakley), her voice was just as magical as the Disney Ariel (Jodi Benson).

I enjoyed Prince Eric (Christopher Charles Wood) even more than the Disney Prince Eric (Christopher Daniel Barnes) because he actually gets to sing more than in the movie and you kind of get to experience his emotions through his songs...which makes the relationship between Ariel that much more magical.

I enjoyed Ursula (Karen L. Robu) and her costume was just stunning and the kids around us were questioning how she was doing what she was doing and were just amazed at it which made it more exciting for me to get to experience the kids around me reaction to it all, I enjoyed her songs including the original that was in the movie originally sung by Pat Carroll in the Disney movie which I think Karen hit the nail on the head with her performance :-)

I also enjoyed King Triton (Kevyn Morrow) he was muscular like the Disney Character originally performed by Kenneth Mars and I enjoyed his costume as well they really out did themselves with their beautiful costumes. :-)

I enjoyed Skuttle (Justin Robertson)who reminded me and my husband of Nathan Lane and we are huge fans of him so it was just a great hilarious performance by Justin and I think he totally nailed the Bird from the Disney Movie originally played by Buddy Hackett, the comic relief we got from Justin was the exact right dose and we enjoyed his playful fun attitude of his character very much. :-)

I enjoyed Flounder (Addison Baker), the costume and Addison brought together to portray the original character from Disney's movie played by Jason Marin, displaying the brave but scared character to the stage with comic relief that also is the correct amount of playful attitude also. :-)

I enjoyed Grimsby (Timothy W. Robu) who kept the prince frustrated but on that straight path to what his late father desired for Eric, just as in the original movie played by Ben Wright.

I enjoyed Chef (Michael J. Parker) and the hilarious display of the chase in the kitchen as well as the original song from the movie about cooking all these sea creatures it was a riot! And I feel he also nailed the original movie character originally played by Rene Auberjonois which was also a very magical performance on screen and on stage.

Then there was the Maid Carlotta (Emily Christ) I also think she nailed the role as the original movie maid played by Edie McClurg who doesn't understand Ariel at first but then helps Ariel get her man in the end.

I also enjoyed all the Gentlemen: Adrian Baidoo, Jordan Barrow, Jacob Chancellor, Max Clayton, Hayden Clifton, Cody Davis, Matthew Elliott, Jacob Gutierrez, Daniel Horn, Jacob January, Ben Lanham, Elliott Mattox, Ross McCorkell, Nick Palmquist, Lyonel Reneau, Ethan Spell, and Zachary James Wilhelm.

And I enjoyed the Ladies: Erin Clemons, Shannon Hucker, Hannah Killebrew, Emily Mechler, Sophie Menas, Maggie Mial, Sarah Quinn, Molly Rushing, Natasha Scearse, and Sarah Shelton.

And I enjoyed the Teens: Audra Bryant (I), Dylan Harris, Nathan Hilger, Trevor McChristian (I), Kassiani Menas, Gavin Myers, Sally Olmstead, Brennan O’Rourke, Maddie Razook, Colleen Richey. Kit Riffle, Charlie Rippy, Jean Rust (I), and
Jacob Wasson. ((I) indentifies a Teen as a Performing Intern)

I thoroughly enjoyed the Kids: Talia Bauchmoyer, Caroline Boesen, Hannah Brock, Kathryn Bunting, Sydney Dahlgren, Abigail Grier, Eden Hadley, Lizzy Hadley, Rebecca Jensen, Gabbe Meloccaro, Faith Northcutt, Morgan Purdy, Olivia Thornton, Lauren Voigt, and Lacey Wellemeyer.

I also want to give credit to all involved in making the show possible:
Director – Wayne Bryan
Choreographer – Linda Goodrich
Musical Director – Thomas W. Douglas
Scenic Designer – J Branson
Costume Designer - Leon Dobkowski

Everything about this show was nailing the movie on the head and uniquely making it your own all at the same time. I applaud you all in your beautiful dance, music and gorgeous visual art that brought the whole story together on stage and in real life. 6 stars on a 5 star rating system ;-) I hope you get to rent the costumes out sooner than later, that must make you all so frustrated to work so hard on this beautiful set only to be restricted in you being able to really make the money back on all your hard work through renting everything out to other theaters to share this beautiful musical with the world. I pray this is only a temporary road block and Disney will release the holds on this musical and allow it to travel across the world to be shared and enjoyed by everyone big and small cause it is THAT magical and THAT worth it.

Thank you all so very much including the Orchestra and all the hard working instrument players who was the backbone to the whole beautiful display of real life version of The Little Mermaid. I cannot say it enough I was in awe of all that you all accomplished on stage that was from the movie as well as the unique added parts that you all made the stage performance your own. Keep up the Good work Music Theater of Wichita! You all amaze me and many who come to see you perform. :-) I can't wait to see Lion King and Many others to come!

Sincerely,
Rabeka Jo D

Britney Spears - Hold It Against Me music video review

I have an opinion and I am going to share it that's why I created this blog...with that said onto my review.

When they do this flash back and forth between different camera views or recordings, to me it says they screwed up A LOT while recording their music video...if I didn't have ADHD before watching this video, I do now...very busy and once you figure out what your looking at (split second) its gone to the next so you are constantly having ah ha moments throughout the video...I can see it was trying to keep the beat of the song with the change in camera views and recordings but this was a little bit over the top for me...I have a headache from watching it. How can anyone learn any dance steps watching this? I really liked the Hit Me Baby One More Time video cause you could at least get a good idea of how the dance moves go...of course Britney has to compete with Lady Gaga and Katy Perry now with all their freakish music videos out there but really does she want to compete with that? or be who she used to be and stop trying to go over the top with what she thinks people want from her? I say Britney go back to the old way of doing things...don't let them alter your voice anymore and keep it clean and something for tweens and teens to look up to...I know expressing yourself and your life's frustrations is therapeutic but maybe you should keep those to yourself for your own private collection...

I noticed a flash image of an eyeball with two iris and pupils in one eye...one of the freakish images I seen in the video...weird...I also noticed Britney fighting with herself? I also seen her in what looked like a wedding dress then tubes attached to her fingers throws rainbow colored paint out in streams? what exactly was that symbolizing? I am confused by it all and as I said I have a headache from flashing back and forth between different camera views and recordings...

I give all my best to Britney but wow what have you became? I feel you have lost yourself...I know your life seems hard but it always could be worse...and there are lots of people who look up to you...as with anyone famous...if you didn't want the shoes to fill...you shouldn't have went into show business...that goes to everyone in show business...especially Lindsay Lohan...I love her but she has gotta step up to the plate of tween idol or take her fame and fortune out of the spot light for the rest of her life...

Anyways, that is my review...comment below your opinions and give me feedback on my observations thanks

Apple iTunes review

I enjoy the different settings and pre-made play lists features etc. but the one thing I don't and won't ever understand about this program and I really wish they would fix the feature to work better...is the feature that adds all media to iTunes library which is kind of confusing...at least to me I didn't think it meant to take whatever media added and place it on the computer hard drive vs. the external hard drive where I personally would like it to stay and be downloaded to and copied to and all that which I think I have it set that way...then I also do understand the make mp3 feature it doesn't say make multiple copies of the song right? no but it does make a copy of it and then you have two of the same song and the ACC file is left...I would like to download mp3 from iTunes directly so I don't have to make a MP3 copy and feel scared about deleting the ACC file that says purchased for fear that the MP3 may get me in trouble and then bog my computer down with two different I am updating my iTunes to 10.3 and I am hoping it organizes my music not duplicates it I am so tired of finding I have 2-4 sometimes but rarely 6 copies of the same song...its frustrating...I just want one of everything wish there was a way for it to just downsize to only MP3 versions of all songs and get rid of ACC files all together but it wont automatically do that and I have to look at each song and highlight each ACC file and delete them one by one or by clustered with Control Key selecting....for multiple deletion...I mean yeah its a free program but I buy from the store and I plan to continue though I don't like that the songs are going up in price I liked .99 songs but as with everything we have to get used to it and be at the mercy of those who provide services ie. gas prices and utilities too...great power deems great responsibility though I hope it catches up to them some day soon I am tired of inflation!
Sincerely,
Rabeka Jo
p.s. yes I know there is that program out there that organizes your music blah blah blah but I ain't paying for something that could be prevented in the first place or sorted out by the one program that created the chaos...not fair to have to buy a program to fix what a program done!

Pocket Shark Portable Steam Pocket System

I do have to say its great for cleaning IF you have already cleaned all the hair and dust off from the surface you are trying to clean/disinfect (sorry its just like the swiffer wet jet which just pushes the dirt and hair around and leaves it up against the sides of every nook it gets pushed against)...And I still feel the need to use Lysol on all surfaces that I "steamed" but I have a mild case of OCD sue me.

Pro's are that if you have a stubborn sticky mess somewhere and you have tried every single cleaner you have in your cupboards and the elbow grease is just not cutting it...let me tell you it just takes seconds for this to take care of that...its amazing on that part...but again make sure the surface is cleaned of hair and dust as it feels as if you are just spreading that stuff around and not really cleaning...its also easy to clean the gloves...you simply put them in the wash and they are ready to be used again and again and again...I also enjoy the steam squeegee for windows and mirrors...though I still use a paper towel instead of the actual squeegee cause I am not a window cleaner and I don't know the tricks of the trade yet...but I am sure with practice I will be able to use it with ease...just right now not so graceful. I also like the fabric steamer feature which gets the wrinkles out in moments and I used it on my couch as well to "disinfect" it and it was pretty easy and didn't dampen it too bad.

Over all its not all you need to clean your house...your still going to need your elbow grease/cleaner to get the dust/hair from the surfaces you wish to use the product on...otherwise you don't feel its cleaning the way they advertise it to...so I would say yes buy the product but don't have your hopes up too high as far as feeling you are cleaning because to me it didn't give me that feeling but of course I suffer from a mild case of OCD. It maybe different for you who knows...Good luck...maybe you will have better luck with yours who knows.

Thanks for reading my review I plan to review movies, products, games, and whatever else I feel like voicing my opinion on...

Sincerely,
Rabeka Jo
